k...once again..these comments are mine. they do not reflect the views of my employer nor their affiliated clientelle. or as mr. h.r. says "they could, but they don't." o.k....so the granholm machine is churning out crap at record speed now. the election is a year away and already the slander-slingin-gabby-granholm is hard at work victimizing a decent guy. the latest gutter garbage to spill out of the democratic thought machine is the notion that while mr. devos was at alticor he was responsible for sending michigan jobs to china. o.k...first get the facts straight. what he did was expand his business INTO china. the products are made there and sold there. they're not exported. but hey, here's a thought - the profit from that venture comes back to where? oh..thats right..michigan. so he made a good business decision by globalizing his market. yes...the alticor company did some restructuring, but the move to china wasnt the catalyst for that. but gabby granholm wants to attack a local corporation for expanding their markets internationally? Is she gonna attack the Meijers corporation next? They're about to start another round of layoffs as they begin outsourcing a large portion of their I.T. department to India. So ms. granholm, are you gonna go after the Meijer family next? How about victimizing every local corporation thats had cutbacks, restructuring and financial problems that demanded some level of globalization. After hearing her attack on Mr. Devos, if i were a local corporate c.e.o. I think i'd feel a little put off by her choice of words. Our state economy sucks. hard. and she's gonna rip on a guy who's actually made some good financial decisions? i can already tell that the ethical election next year will be a one sided battle. thats the end of my rant. please resume your regularly scheduled lives.
